What to expect

Foreign citizens must have a valid visa to enter, transit, or remain in Australia. Find your specific visa eligibility and apply through the Australian Department of Home Affairs. Requirements vary by your passport and the purpose of your visit, but all applicants must clear baseline health, character, and financial checks

​​Please find below the most popular visas categories to attend an event in Australia. 

Electronic Travel Authority (ETA - Subclass 601)

  • It allow multiple entries for up to 1 year, staying up to 3 months per visit.

  • Available to passport holders from over 30 eligible countries/regions.

  • Applications are exclusively submitted via the official Australian ETA app.

  • Processing Time: in most cases, the result of your ETA application is immediate. Your application may take longer if you do not complete the application process correctly or we require further information. We suggest you do not make travel arrangements until we grant your ETA.

eVisitor (Subclass 651)

  • Free, multiple-entry visa for stays up to 3 months within a 12-month period for tourism or business. Strictly for passport holders from eligible European countries.

 

Visitor Visa (Subclass 600)

  • For tourists or business visitors from non-ETA eligible countries.

  • Stays of up to 3, 6, or 12 months are possible.

  • You must provide financial statements (bank statements, payslips) to prove you can support yourself. Base application fee starts at AUD 195.
